The CVC Register was invited to a photoshoot with renowned photographer Richard Dredge set to feature in the November 2017 issue of Diesel Car Magazine. The shoot was arranged to take place at the Fleur de Lys just outside of Solihull.
A good selection of group vehicles made it to the mid morning start, with some travelling quite some distance to be part of the shoot. Amongst the line up were a selection of pre and early production Freelanders, a brace of press launch Discovery 3s, L10 RGL the Spen King P38a and a pre-production Range Rover L405.
First order of the day was to get a group shot which involved shifting around the garden furniture of the Fleurde Lys and then getting the cars in the best possible location for the photo. Following on from the group shot, Richard Dredge was left in charge of all the vehicles to take individual detail shots while the rest of the group indulged in a well deserved lunch.
It was a great day out for all involved and the resulting images stand to be of exceptional quality to accompany the article on the group’s activities for the magazine.
