Registrations to look out for
BT, BU 2002
The 3rd generation L322 Range Rover was launched at an exclusive event in Scotland during February 2002. The press fleet of 51-registered vehicles all carried Birmingham location identifiers: BT, BU, BV. It is said that all the 51 plate press cars were scrapped by the company after the launch apart from production vehicle ‘number one’ which was transferred to the HMC museum. However, one vehicle was sent to feature in the James Bond film ‘Die Another Day” and survived the crusher. BT51 EKB is now safe in the hands of a Range Rover enthusiast.
